What it means

A stroked element is too thin to survive as embroidery cleanly.

Why it matters

Very thin strokes disappear, fray, or fail to read after stitching and washing.

Common triggers

  • scaled-down artwork
  • vector strokes designed for print not thread
  • thin outline accents on unstable fabric

Typical fixes

  • thicken the line
  • convert the detail to a different stitch strategy
  • enlarge the design

Notes

  • Planned canonical rule: LINE_TOO_THIN in plan/05-validation.md.
  • Current implementation alias: stroke_too_thin in worker/validator.py.
